WHAT IS NAREB
The National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) was founded in 1947 by a
group of minority real estate professionals who were denied access to the National
Association of Realtors. This dedicated group worked together to form an association
to serve those were disenfranchised by other organizations.
WHO IS A REALTIST
A Realtist is a member of NAREB who adheres to the
professional and ethical principles established by the
founding members. A Realtist is committed professional
in the real estate field who incorporates Realtist
disciplines in their business practices.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The Realtists are a nationwide organization that actively
works toward protecting our right to equal housing.
We maintain a Public Affairs Committee that evaluates
legislative issues affecting our industry before Congress
and other agencies. We have an active partnership with the Black Caucus.
